Choosing your age to be an adult…

The Nation doesn’t know you, why should they have to choose your age to be an adult? Do they
know what’s mean being an adult? Quinceaneras, Super Sweat Sixteen or a sexual experience
in your life make you an adult, that's what society says. Biologist says adult is when people are
ready to have children. Psychologies say when people are prepared physical, spiritual, and
psychological to act different and take responsibilities by them self. In United State my ID can
tell you if I am older 21(adult) or over 21(am I a kid?) but not around the world. I wander where
are the values, feeling and responsibilities’ that it real makes you an adult, not just the age.

In many countries they just look for an age at which adult can legally work, marry, vote, buy
alcohol, or be charged with a crime, as the adult age. Many countries can variety, some start at
12 and some other countries they are adult at the age of 21, like United State. When we were
child, we were educated to do our best for the community doing the right with values that make
a person. Values introduced for the religions or introduced by our nation like respect, honest,
love and others more, it is not necessary to do it in certain age (age of license). We don’t need
that the government says how old we have to be to practice them. I know, and all of us know
what is wrong and what is right, when, where, and how to do it. That’s the value, knowing what
could be good or bad. If I want to have fun, do I need to be 21 or 18? Or that is a crime. We
cannot go to any club because we are not “legally” allowed having fun; we just want to have fun,
not drink. We already knew our values.

May be the first sexual relation means that people can become an adult. There is any book,
media or science that can say the exactly age to have sexual relation. We don’t need to be 18
to have relationship. If we want to drink, drive, do drug or go to clubs and have relations, we
don’t need to be 18 or 21 there is any rule that it says this. There are lot of people whose have
knowledge, experience, and responsibilities as an adult but they are not 18 or 21. The child
feelings and adult feelings are so different, but to have those feeling there isn’t any age to
feeling it.

As the part of the any nation we have right and responsibilities. They want us to serve, save,
pay and keep good the nation, but we cannot choose (vote) how is going to leader the nation,
unless we are 18. If we cannot vote, why do we have to pay tax, respect and protect the nation?
If we want to drive, we have to be 16 with permission to drive or 18 as an adult, but what
happen with those people who are over 18 and they don’t have driver license and cash the car,
they are charged with crime. How can they be charged as an adult if they are not adults? We
need to save the nation for our future with responsibilities no matter how old we are or we must
be 18, adult to have responsibilities and save the nation?

We have to obey the law; because they have knowledge to guide us to do the right. Also when
people are getting older, they are having more and more knowledge and experience to act
better in the life. The older, the better behavior people have to act in such hurt life. But we don’t
have to be old to have goods behavior, experiences, knowledge. Younger people have better
behaviors than a 21 years old, adult person. If they don’t lend us to do thing and have mistake,
how can we learn. Or we have to wait 18 years to make mistake and learn about what is life.

There are any age to be considered as an adult, every person is different and every person act
and grow in different ways. Why the government wants to make and adult at the age of 18? I
think is not just the age to be an adult, is also having values, feelings, responsibilities. Be
preparing physical, spiritual and psychological to live your life by your self and do it correctly
with knowledge, experience and wisdom. That’s what it means be an adult.
