My favorite character is Ikuko. She gives me very deep impress to me. In the story, when she prepares to leave the small house in Africa, “Why can't I satisfy what I get?” she asked herself and Bernard. I think this sentence means the road of life just begin, we have to come to terms. Ikuko has to chose the good living place or love, but at last, She chose get back to Japan and married with her boyfriend. I think Ikuko made a good choice, she representatives some people who have to come to terms. That ‘s the reason why I like her.
