I think both pictures are quite fit to John's character and his role in this story.
My character John is a successful television producer who is celebrating his success with his assistant Jenny. Now he wants to start a new series and he said to Jenny to work out on new idea . John loves his wife and his son Patrick. John is going to spend his one week vacation with Rachel and Patrick at Ireland. John wanted to tell her wife about his successful television series but he was worried about his wife. He noticed, that she had seemed nervous and worried about something. She had not wanted to go out anywhere.
John told Jenny that he has idea of urban myths. The stories that people tell in different places all over the country. Next day Jenny got an audio cassette and gave it to John for listening. While he was listening the audio cassette, suddenly he stopped the cassette. Jenny asked him what happened because she noticed that his expressions were strange. John replied how it is possible? This is my story. How anyone can tell my story?
There is a suspense and it is a kind of mysterious story. There are some situations who put the reader into confusion as well as interest. In this story, adventure starts when John is confuse that how his story can be similar to other three people. John is surprised that if they are narrating a false story. Now John wants to find out the truth about those other stories who are quite similar to his stories.
When John went to Ireland for vacations there he saw a bad dream that his wife disappeared with his son. At that time, Rachel also told John about her dream, that their son was in danger, due to which she was scared. When they returned back to home, he was in uncertain state of mind. At that point, he thought perhaps he is getting mad. In fact, it was just John’s imagination and hallucination. At the end, john tried to over come all his imaginations and everything was quite normal in his life.
